cahit berkay is a turkish performer born in 1946. cahit berkay co-formed moğollar (band) in 1967 and became the songwriter and performer of various different musical instruments contributing to the fusion sound of band from western music to eastern motives. he playes instruments like electric guitar, tanbur, bağlama, cura, etc. he also wrote music for the turkish cinema and in his later career he made albums consisting of these movie soundtracks.
